I recently installed an xfx nvidia 6200LE 256MB on my dell dimension 4550 computer (P4 2.4 GHz, 768MB Ram, 200GB HDD). It seemed to work properly at first, but some games like fifa 08 are a little choppy even at low settings. also, after playing a game for a few hours, the game sometimes freezes and after exiting to the desktop, the screen is set to 4 bit color and 640x480 settings. Is this a prob with my gfx card? how can i solve it? thanks

Perhaps your graphics card need a new driver? Or the card could be overheating? Can you check the temperatures of the graphics card when it freezes and exits to the desktop?

I got the newest driver for the card. the highest temp it reached was about 59.C, so it didn't overheat.
