need help

Hey,
i have an AMD Athlon 2400+


when i enter the option of the CPU SPEED in the BIOS, i see 2 options,
1- 2000mhz
2- 2666mhz

and in the default it's in 2000mhz..

if i put 2666mh will this damage the CPU?

I suspect it will if you are running stock cooling. Too much heat. I could be wrong tho, not familer with that CPU tho.

You need to adjust the motherboard settings as seen in the following link:
