Okay, I am having a hard time deciding here. I am looking strictly for performance here. What is better?

640Gb (1x640Gb) single S-ATA Western Digital Caviar SE16

or

500Gb (2x250Gb) in RAID 0 Western Digital Caviar SE16



So Raid versus single fast drive?

whichever one is better how much better will it be?
