System says it cant be repaired and goes to blue screen after booting initially

Hello,
my dell inspiron lapton which has vista os is starting with windows and says to open normally it needs to repair process and later after repair process says not able to fix and goes to empty blue screen ....what shall i do

you will have to use a windows installation cd and boot from that and go to windows repair to fix the boot manager * however if this does not fix the issue it could be a little more damaged than that and would proble be best to reload the operating system fully after backing up your data from your hard drive using another computer.
