Would I get a game performance boost by buying faster memory and if so what is the best to go for

Asus P5W DH Deluxe
Xfx 8800 ultra
Intel Core Duo Quad@2.ghz
Corsair PC 5300 3 gig

Not always. You may be able to set the voltage a little higher and try setting the memory speed manually. 2.1-2.2 is as high as you want to try. Some memory runs more stable with higher voltages; some not.
