I recently had to perform a full destructive system restor on my obsolete HP pavillion F70 Desktop as it is the only computer I have in my house. I have attempted to connect my Belkin Wireless USB adapter to my computer and now I can NOT connect to unsecured networks. What is wrong? Do I need an update from Microsoft that has been sent out during 2002-2009 for my adapter to work? Note, I can acess the internet elsewhere if something is needed to be downloaded, but as for axcessing local secured networks, i can't because I do not have valid WEPs. Also, I can not connect to unsecured system because it automatically logs me out.
