I troubleshooted it down and decided the motherboard was the problem. I sent my MSI P6N SLI back to the manufactorer, and now I have a P5N-E SLI. The manual for the motherboard looked very used when I got it, which worries me, but I'm going to hope the motherboard is new....
Specs:
Antec 900
ASUS P5N-E SLI -Mobo
G.Skill NR series DDR2 800 1xGB
Geforce 8600 GTS
Epsilon 700W PSU
I just attempted to install video card/ram/CPU only and boot off default jumpers and settings. Im currently trying to find a way to install a system warning speaker for the motherboard troubleshooting diagnostics, but I dont think my case has one, which is worrying me.
Just went to the local store and the guy gave me a free system warning speaker since he had a bunch laying around. But so far it POSTED!! (: So the conclusion from my last thread was right, it was the motherboard, damn MSI for sending me a bad mobo..... I guess I can sell the new one when I get it back from MSI.
Well this is just the beginning, hopefully I can get it up in running in a couple of hours.
