Hi,

i've just got my e2180 and i can't get it over 2.44 Ghz. I know nothing about overclocking, i just raised fbs to 244 and that's all. It won't go over, system just reboots or crashes after a couple minutes. I've read instructions to set multiplier and adjust Vcore, but i can't do it in my bios(or i can't find it).So..help?! anyone?!

My hardware:

Gigabyte ga-945gcm-s2

GeForce 7600 GS 256mb

kingston 1 gb khx6400d2llk2 DDR2-800

Zalman CNPS9500AT cpu cooler

don't be overclocking if you know nothing about it... there are several guides you can find right in this section; read them.

i think you may have a bad mobo... the 945 chipset is a bit old...

Not the best idea to OC if you don't know what you're doing. In the worst case scenario, you could end up killing your pc.

Make sure you have the latest bios and read the guide here. If you have questions about some procedures, ask them here.
