Paralell driver for floppy

Hello I am looking for a driver to use lpt1 port on a Dell d500. I have a cable and drive from my old Dell c400 which worked well

You have a drive that runs on an LPT port? Or is it a printer? drives don't run on LPT1.

Hello and thanks for reply. By LPT1 I mean paraellel port. I used this for years on my old laptop. I have switched bios to bidirectional, It must be a Windows driver because I have installed a new system and it still worked.
There are drivers for USB /floppy.

I'm not sure when they started putting Service Tags on Dell machines but if yours has one, input it at their website for precise details of drivers for that machine.
