P190 Black Steel ATX Mid Tower .

Guys this is an interesting case in that it combines 2 power supply to run the system. I was wondering if anyone knows if you can replace the 2 power supply with your own. I have thermaltake 850w. and Neo Truepower 550w i would like to use instead. Anyone know?

all it does is turn both PSUs(1 normal and 1 w/o ATX Connector) on at the same time, so u will need a circuit to do that for you
you might get some funky problems with devices on different PSUs, SLi/Crossfire etc.. , possible HDs on RAID5 etc....

2PSUs is ok if you have say, all HDs on one side along with everything else and the VGA on the other

Which one is better:

A) Antec P182 + one PSU (Lets say Silverstone 850W Zeus or 1000W Olympia )

B) Antec P190 (with standard antec PSUs)

I am leaning towards B) since it is about same price than A) (or even cheaper).

I am planing to put two 3870s in crossfire and a quad core processor in the case. Now I am leaning towards B)-since it is actually cheaper or the price is almost same as the price of A).

Any comments?

I went the a P182 and a PC&C 750w silencer. At the time it was cheaper to buy the P190, although I think the power supply I bought has dropped in price since then.

The main reason was there was some complaints about the power supply in the P190 in the user reviews over at newegg. Also, one review I found. Even with the extra fans it comes with, it doesn't do any better than the P182 in the cooling department.

I would go with the 182 with a tier 1 or 2 PSU.

I own P182 with Corsair 620HX and i'm very happy with it. Just replace fans with Sythe S-Flex and your good to go.

Id go with the P182 also... the P190's PSU config is ridiculus... they have a 650w (i think) to run all mobo, gpu's and the other one 550 (i think) to run hdd, fans etc. It doesnt balance the load evenly
