Just came across these, not sure if anyone else has seen these cards yet. Considering the OC potential of the 3850 this could be promising but not sure what this could mean for the 3870.

Considering I'm on a budget if the price is right this should be for a great upgrade over my 6800 GS.
Any thoughts about the 512 version of the 3850?

IMO 3870 is too close in price, not much point getting 3850 512MB unless you want CrossFire with two single slot cards.

Here's one I found, not bad. Depending on the game it does somewhat well when pitted against the 8800gt, others still lacking and if I read it correctly at the end the card is going to be $20 more than the 256mb version. Here's hoping.

They'd be too close in price. It would steal 3850 256mb sales, but its too close to 3870 to even think about buying.

But Harrison said, it'd be nice for a Crossfire set-up. But even then it'd be roughly the same price as the upcoming 3870x2...

Newegg lists a gecube 3850 at 512 meg... I just opened a checking account today and my blasted debit will not be here for at least a weak... NOOOOOOO

by the way it was listed at 210 bucks. Newegg gouged the prices of the 3870s up to 270 for a while but they are down to 250 even now...

Newegg must have just in the last couple of hours just posted that, wasn't there earlier, cool. Is GeCube any good? Never had one of their cards nor heard one way or the other.

I've never used one of their boards but if we wait another day we'll probably be getting a look at some powercolor and the HIS which will probably be sporting ICEQ cooler (or whatever it's called)

I'm so excited that ATI is finally coming out with something to make the gpu market a bit competitive.

Never heard anything bad about them, they were the company who made the AGP X1950XT, which had a sweet cooler, apart from being the only one of its kind. That is the only thing they've done that has ever attracted my attention though.
