Hi guys

I have an older WD 80GB 7200 RPM/2MB IDE drive in my system right now. I want replace it with a new SATA drive/32 MB and then install Vista on it.

Is there anything I need to be concerned about?

Can I just install the drive, then install vista on the new drive and change the bios to boot from the new drive?
Will that leave my old XP install on the other drive for emergencies sake?
WIll both drives be accessible in the other OS ... i.e. can I access the SATA drive while using either Vista on the new drive or XP on the old drive?

IF I am way out to lunch here, I'd appreciate if someone could post a guide/faq about installing the new drive/os.

THanks.
