Anyone with this card playing Crysis? Wondering if I'd get over 30fps in the lower resolutions. My 24" monitor does 1900x1200, don't think I'll be going for that though.

I was able to play the demo at 1280X1024 on medium settings. When I tried it on high settings I could play it but there was lag and slow downs during gun fights.

my 7800gt plays crysis just fine @ 1680x1050 with medium/high settings.

Only things that are on low:
Shadows, post processing.

Shader's have to be turned down to medium (meaning no HDR :( )... but the game still looks beautiful.

for the most part, resolution has a rather small impact on the overall fps by itself. what affects fps most though, are a few of the 'optional' detail settings (even if your resolution is set to a minimum), first and foremost being shader level, and seconded by texture, shadow, and AA levels. if the appropriate settings are set, youll probably near/exceed 100fps @ 1900x1200.

really though, 1900x1200 is perfectly playable, as long as youre careful with which detail settings you opt to use.

i was able to play at 2560x1024 (2*19" ) with my 7800GT (at above 20fps), as long as i made the appropriate visual sacrifices.

Im currently playing with a 7600gs with some settings low some high some medium. Its not too bad considering I have a P4 3.2 The water detail is set to high and AA is at 2x

It plays at 30fps(according to fraps)in 1280x1024 with everything set to low, no AA, on an EVGA 7600GT 256mb DDR3.

COD4 plays at same res with everything turned on, except AA at 38fps.

Forgot to mention this is on XP SP1. SP2 would probably cut it in half, but I ain't ever loadin' that again.

Well I think I have a problem with mine. This is why I just bought a 9800GX2 (should arrive this week). I can barely play the game w/ everything on low @ 1024x768. It could be vista, my board, or a bunch of other factors. Hopefully my 9800GX2 will do good; if not, **** this rig.

I'll post how it performs in a few minutes.

Alright, I just did a test that seems to work. I just temporarily installed a copy of Windows XP x64 to see if the problem was Vista and that seems to be it.

I used to get ~ 25 FPS on low settings @ 1024x768. Here is what I get now.

**TESTED USING GPU Benchmark software included with game. (3 loops).

Low Settings 1024x768.
Average 86.94 FPS

Medium Settings 1024x768
Average 35.69 FPS

High Settings 1024x768
Average 17.85 FPS

Still not what it should be, but still some tweaking to be done. I think that this issue is pretty new, because when I got the game, I remember playing it at 1680x1050 on high without issues until I ran into those little bio-robots.
