First of all would it work on my computer? and do you think it's worth buying for 50? I'm only looking to play bioshock at the lowest settings...I could actually play Bioshock with my Onboard Ge Force 6100..not the best fps maybe like 15-20 but I want to be able to play it somewhat faster...

I can't see any reason why it wouldn't work, but the 8500GT is an absolutely terrible card. You can get something a lot better for just a little extra.

Doesn't matter if you OC it, its still not a very good card.

It will improve your performance over what you have, but I don't think its worth $50. The 7600GT has been selling on ebay for around $50. Try looking into that. Its a far superior card.

What the FACK are you doing, WASTING your money, if you can barely afford another card, HARDLY better than integrated graphics??? put the money in the bank!!

Any graphics card will be an improvement over integrated. The 8500GT will help, but won't be a huge improvement. It's a DDR2 version which isn't designed for gaming. Better off saving the money and getting something better.

So I should shoot for the EVGA 7600GT GDDR3? Thank you for your reply's. If anyone knows a Video Card that Would be a "good" budget card that would handle something like Rainbow Six Vegas?

Well most cards can handle Rainbow Six Vegas...bland Textures...but I dont the 8500 GT would ...I mean I don't see the market they were trying to attack with that card.

For 100$ you can get the 8600 GT...which is a Direct X 10 card...not that it matters for Vegas but its a decent card....better than the 7600 and it offers DX 10.

But I'm with the others...I think you should wait on it:)
