power up clear sided case w/side lighted fan 600 watt power supply
comes with nero burning software and windows xp pro sp2 installed
you can check any custom builder this machine will cost you 4,000.00 or more

Sounds like a bad deal to me. You could probably build that from newegg for a little over half the price. They don't tell you what processor it is. Personally, I would never put 2 7300's in my computer. I would rather use one equally priced card. I'm sure they were using 'SLI' to try and get more money out of it.

You could build something pretty good with that money... quad core processor, a top videocard (7300 GT is really bad), and some other stuff.

If you know somebody that could help you with the build, you should ask. Otherwise you should ask here where to buy a nice pc at a decent price.

For the same money or less, you could build a Q6600, Ultra 120 HS, P180 Case, P35-DQ6, 8800GTX, Ballistix DDR2 800 RAM, Silencer 610, DVD-RW. I know because I did.

First of all, there isn't a 350GB SATA HDD made. It's either 400GB or 320GB.
Second, the 7300GT isn't made with GDDR3. The XFX card is GDDR2:

Overall, it's not worth $1,700. I can build a killer q6600 system with a 8800GTX and 4GB of RAM for that much money.

A word of advice my friend...q6600 and dual 8800gt's in sli is what you can get for $1,700. Good question to ask, cause if you didn't, you'd be out $1,700 dollars. Listen to what these guys are telling you; they know what they are doing. If you have never built before; do some research, make a list of parts, and post it on these forums and people will give you a load of help on it.

Here's a rule of thumb, do not buy computers off Craigslist. One in every 35-50 computers sold on Craigslist is a decent deal, the rest are rip offs plain and simple. In fact, my boss showed me a very similar PC on tigerdirect.com today, except it cost $400 and has a Pentium D 925. My boss thought it was an awesome deal until I showed him the VGA charts here for Oblivion at 1280x1024 where the 7300 GT scored like 3 fps!

WOW! That deal sucked. Glad we warned you off it before you gave that crook $1700. Sounds like he feeds off people who have not kept up with PC prices and trends. People looking in all the wrong places for a great 'deal'. There are no great deals. Buy from a normal channel.

Why not just build your own?

Great forum here and step by step videos at youtube/googlevideo.

You can build a very nice gaming machine for $600-650 through newegg and a few other online vendors.

Here is a quick parts list:

$82 - Intel e2160
$95 - Gigabyte P35 motherboard
$240-250 - Nvidia 8800gt 512mb
$50 - Crucial Ballistix DDR2-800 2x1gb kit
$30 - Samsung or Pioneer DVD burner
$60 - WD or Seagate 250gb Sata hard disk
$30+ - Case with 120mm intake and exhaust fans
$50-62 - Corsair 450vx (buy.com)

And presto! Overlock the e2160 to 3.0ghz and you have a PC that will max most games (aside from Crysis) at 1280x1024 / 1680x1050 resolutions.
