Currently I have a GeForce 8800GTS 640 MB made by XFX. The clocks are 600MHz for the core and 1500 for the shader. It can run Crysis decently but that 3870 is tempting. Is it worth the upgrade?

I doubt it. Id stick with what i had for a while yet.

the difference in performance most likely wont be worth it.
