Hey guys. I have a Phenom 9500 and a msi 790fx motherboard with 2 ati crossfire 3870 512mb cards with a WD 160gb 7200rpm HDD with one optical drive.I had HT to 1.6ghz and Memory to a 2:1 ratio...But Unfortunately I only have a Antec 550w power supply... but I cant get my Phenom to OC over 2.3 without instability. I'm almost positive its the PSU figuring the fact that Im almost using up all my psu voltage/wattage...But any type of advice is always good.

could be not enough power, since you'd be pretty close to full load or more with that setup, and raising the cpu freq would push it over. Or you could just have a phenom that doesn't like to OC.

If it's your PSU your rig would be hardlocking. Is it hardlocking? If not than it's not your PSU. If the PSU hickups because of an overload than it will continue to run but the rest of the rig will hardlock. In other words freeze screen. Not so much a BSOD but just a frozen screenshot of what ever you were doing.
