Problem/symptom

No sound DTV player: DTV launch icon on desktop in win98 compatibility mode
(change to windows 2000)
Error message DTV and TV player won't start: old version of remote wonderII
installed with new drivers

If you follow the instructions on the ATI web site for the new drivers, it
works, at least with the ATI 9800SE video card.

With Radeon chipset (9800SE) video card, TV uses 7% cpu, DTV uses 25% CPU
With old drivers and geforce 4 mx 440 video card, used 80% cpu resources in
DTV mode. Occasionally has stutter due to HD write (can't turn off live
player/recorder)

Picture quality is better than the Fusion HDTV with QAM tuner card. Only
problem I have is with CH 40 an ABC network. No Picture but have sound.
Must be a problem with the method they use to encode the picture.
