The motherboard I'm looking at says "DDR2 1066" under supported RAM. Does this mean I can only use DDR2 1066, or can I use slower speeds, such as DDR2 1000?
------------------------------"Contrariwise," continued Tweedledee, "if it was so, it might be; and if it were so, it would be; but as it isn't, it ain't. That's logic."
You can use slower RAM, no problem. It'll auto-detect and set the memory up accordingly. You can also run 1066 RAM on a board rated for 800: It's just considered an overclock.
------------------------------Which Chip? Well, it depends on which set of thieving b@stardz you choose to support: The ones who use insider trading to enrich themselves while running their company into the ground? Or the ones who illegally pay vendors to not support the first group?
