Trouble finding Network Connection

Reinstalled windows vista on my Dell and now the computer doesn't recognize any Ethernet connection.

Everything with the modem, router and cables are fine. I have a HP desktop right next to the Dell. The HP works fine with the modem, router and cables.

Any ideas?
