It was bound to happen.

Anyways, the OCing section is not very lively compared to the cpus or vidcards section, so it's normal if you don't get a reply within 3hours.

If it makes you feel better,...GOOD FIND!

Lol yes it did make me fell better thank you. I had just paid $300 for one like month ago so, I'm kind of salty about it. I figured I would share the news with every one though. It makes me wonder how much they are going to list the new quads for when they come out you know,, . I am driving instantly to there and getting one when they do come out that is for sure. They always give good deals on the new stuff. They had the new 8400s listed for $189 when they first came out and everyone was taxing.

I got mine when it was $280. Older technology is bound to fall in price, but $200 is amazing for a quad core. With this, AMD is forced to lower the Phenom's price, and hopefully bring in something better.

Competition is a great thing, ain't it?

The best kind of competition is the civil kind, this should reduce the price of the E8400 as well, a little bit more of a practical cpu right now, and it OC's like a champ. Even still I'll ride my E2180 @ 3Ghz for another year or two, by then who knows what new toys will be out and how cheap the chips we have now will be...
