I am running a AMD phenom 9500 cooled by a zalman fan with a ECS A770M-A AM2+ motherboard, Visiontek ati 3870 512mb, One optical Drive and WD 160gb 7200, with 3 fans, My PSU is a Antec 550w. but for some reason my CPU is only running 1.2 core speed for certain cores and the multiplier's are set at 5.5x but 2 of them set a 11x. I overclocked before when I had a 8800 gts 640mb in the case but restored it to default when i put the 3870 in I recently checked and saw this problem. I also noticed my corev jumps from 1.25 to 1.05. I really hope its the lack of power from my PSU! SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!
Thanks that really helps I noticed if your running default speeds the C&Q will lower your clock frequency as well as for your multiplier which is pretty crappy. I OCed my cpu from 2.2 to 2.3 to see what it would do and all multipliers went to normal. I guess C&Q is good for people who dont overclock their rigs to get as much life out their CPU as possible. well thanks virux for the advice
