Will my mobo run this video card?

a MSI P6N and a 8800GT, i want to know if they are compatible, because it requires PCI Express 2.0, and a P6N only supports PCI Express 1.0

PCI Express 2.0 devices (like the 8800GT) are backwards compatible with PCI Express 1.x

Yep, they work, PCIE 2 enables more bandwidth, but PCIE is not used to its full potential anyways, your good to go.

PCI-e 2.0 also allows more power through the bus.

As said above. the 8800GT will work well you your mobo
