So i have a question...

I am building a new computer (my first build). Its all put together and starts up and gets to the BIOS fine. My question is this: which harddrive should I install x64 Vista on for maximum performance. I have a 500GB HD and 320GB HD. They are both 7200 rpm, but the difference is that the 500GB HD has 32mb of cache and the smaller one has 16mb. I've heard you are supposed to install it on the smaller drive, but I didn't know if that changes depending on the amount of cache.

Thanks for the help

It won't matter very much, but I would install the OS & software on the smaller drive and use the bigger one for My Documents, data, files, stuff, backups, etc. The reason behind this is simple: data > software. In terms of size & value.
