Hello,
I am using Microsoft SE. and when I run a system health report I get a no virus protection message. When I open the prgram it says the program running and up to date. I would like to know whats up? Thanks !

If you can see it running, then I wouldn't worry about it. If it's really bothering you however, you could always reinstall MSE to try and force the health report to pick up the existence of MSE on your system.

i have vipre antivirus and it shows the same thing.as long as the security center shows it your fine!

I have MSE and the health report does not detect it either it didn't in Vista either I hope that there is a solution to this issue eventually

Open MSE and look to make sure the active protection is functioning. If it really is running, pay no attention to what the Action Center or any other Security status report from 7 says. It is not the be-all and end-all of your computer's security status.

I am certain my computer is protcted, but I am still curious . I posted on the microsoft forum and had 100 veiws and 1 reply that didn't apply. Thanks for input.
