Hi there.
I'm running a XFX 8600GT on a PCI-e x4 MAX slot on an ASUS P5VDC-X Mobo, I was wondering if my card was reaching a bottleneck due to the limitations of the slot....if so I'm planning to upgrade my mobo fix this issue....does anyone know if my card isn't reaching its potential ?? I got a 3dmark score of 4778 with nothing OCd. Thanx.

Compare your results with a similar PC configuration with yours on a PCI-e x16 or even x8 and see if it makes a difference. I would have to say there may be a 5-15% difference. Just a rough estimation though.
Do a google search or look some reviews of the card to make the comparison.

Thanks for the reply. I found one guy with a similar configuration on a board with a PCI-e x16 and got a 3dmark 06 score of 4967....this doubt is like a splinter in my mind....i think i'll just upgrade to a ASUS P5N-E SLI and get this over with.....maybe drop a second card in the future....thanks a lot.
