Bob,

Why don't you just buy one of the cheaper new LG TVs with the 5th chip
in it and take out the HDTV tuner. Then deconstruct the tuner's
architecture and sell your services and tuner circuit diagram to other
manufacturers to make the 5th chip work like in the LG sets. Sets
start at under $1,000! How hard would it be for a guy like you to
analyze a circuit board!
