My Pentium D 3.2ghz cpu is at 55C at idle
When I play WoW it heats up to 85C sometimes even more
The cpu cooling fan I have was pretty cheap, I don't remember the brand
If I keep the case closed the temp will get up to 100C
So right now I have a large house fan blowing into the side of the open case just to keep it at 85C, lol

I am thinking of buying an Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro to just tide me over for a couple months until I have a new
system built or build one myself.

Any thoughts on the Arctic Cooler or advice would be greatly appreciatted

ACF 7 is an excellent choice, it should cool your cpu well. Since you probably want to carry over to a new system, a better choice would be the Xigmatek: http://www.frostytech.com/articleview.cfm?articleID=223... It performs better than the AC7 and it will be a better investment when you carry it over to your new system.

Otherwise, you can't go wrong with the AC7.
