hi guys,

Can anyone tell me if there exist a cable to connect a Sata drive to a Adaptec Sas/Sata controller.

What i mean is, you have the 7 pin for the data and the 15 pin for the power, so normally one uses 2 cables.

Can this be done with only 1 cable?

I haven't seen a card or a cord that can provide the power as well as the data. I'm pretty sure it would draw too much power from the board.
