If trying to install XP, in BIOS set the first boot device to DVD, place the XP CD in the tray and save and exit. When prompted to press any key to boot to the CD, do so. Format and install the OS.
If u r getting message about "not having drivers for the hard drive" while install XP or when the setup starts then it means ur XP installation disk is currept and get a get one or download it.
