I have configured speedfan over a month ago and have successfully OCd my E2160 to 3.0GHz. I currently run it at 2.8GHz.

My Core 0: temp is usually within 1C of my Core 1: temp.

I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but I installed Vista Ultimate on a separate HD yesterday.

Now my Core 0: is 25 and my Core 1: is 32 on the XP system. Core 0: has always been my hottest core. Speed fan temps on Vista are normal. The Speed fan on XP home is now off by 7C between Cores.

1. What would cause speed fan to start giving my gimpy numbers?

I'm going to try reinstalling speed fan on the XP system and see what happens.

Uninstall reinstall seemed to work. That was weird though. :pt1cable:
