IF my motherboard supports RAM up to DDR2 800, if i buy DDR2 1066 wotn it downclcok it to 800 which isnt good obviously. BUT! Because it is ment to operate at 1066mhz and not 800mhz coudln't I OC my CPU alot higher? Example

My cpu at 400mhz FSB with a 1:1 FSB\RAM ratio gives me 800mhz RAM

But my RAM really isnt ment for OC so goign to 425FSB (425x8=3400mhz CPU) with a 1:1 ratio gives me 850mhz ram which on my comp is unstable.

Soo with DDR2 1066
500 FSB (500x8=4000mhz CPU) gives me 1000mzh RAM but because it is DDR2 1066 It would be stable woudl it not? unless obviously my CPu couldnt handle that but thats besids the point.

Basicly could i put DDR2 1066 in a motherboard that only supports up to DDR2 800 and get a better overclock?

i know but if u have 3x DDR 333 pieces adn u ptu a DDR 4000 piece in it lower it to match the others, woudlnt it lower the DDR2 1066 to 800mhz, but because it is ment to run at 1066 u coudl overclock easlily with out memery limitations?
