How to enable a disabled monitor

Hello,
I accidently disabled my monitor and now can't get it back there is no picture on the screen, can anyone help as I am only basic computer, so make it easy.. many thanks Lorna

It's hard to disable, Lorna but if you have managed to do it, it will be even harder to re-enable it unless you have another monitor so you can see what you're doing. It's more likely there's no power or video connection to the monitor so start by checking the cables at both ends. Are there any lights showing on it? Sounds more like a power issue - a loose video cable would cause the monitor to give a No Input message.

Push the button to turn the monitor on, do you get the 'no input signal' message?

Yep, it's likely just a loose cable, either VGA or power.
