I am getting random lock ups with some games it's driving me mad. I ahve ruled out heat as it never goes over 65c , any ideas!!

Can you post more info like your whole system specs (Motherboard CPU ram, Operating System, Power-Supply) and also what games?

With out know anything and pissing in the wind in a sense, Make sure the game has the latest Patches and also make sure your 8800Ultra has the latest drivers from Nvidia

Intel Q6600 Quad 2.4 gig
8800 ultra
Asus P5W PH Delxue
4 gig of ram
Siverstone 650 watt pci pSU
Antek 900 case

Bioshock and MOH airborne both updated and latest drivers

are they just random like 1-3second lock ups or hard locks

if its a random 1-3sec lock up Defrag your harddrive, It could be/most likely HDD Access lag, normally caused by just a heavily fragmented HardDrive

Also 68C isn't bad for a 8800Ultra but what about your Q6600? im gonna guess its not overheating either but it could be something to look into.

Random lock ups every now and then. Cpu temp is 28c-35c. some people tell me its a power issue

r u using Vista? If so make sure u have the latest drivers. Earlyer on previous drivers Vista would lock up on nvidia cards. I was a victim -_- lol
