do i get a maximus formula & Q6600 now or wait for new X48 & penryn?
if the price is going to be more or i have to wait too long then its not possible?

Long wait? That's funny cuz your current pc is not that bad. If I were you, I would be getting X48. That's just me. A lot of newbies would prefer X38 & regret the purchase come Q1/08.

If Possible wait until Early/Mid January.
The Penryn should be out and the 2.5Ghz Quad actually has a lower tray price than the Q6600, though the price may be higher the first few weeks while inventory settles.

There will also be new Intel and NVIDIA Mobos.
The 780i should be out this month with 3-way SLI!
