Can't play WHOLE .avi file

Hello guys,
I am new to this forum and this is my first post.
I have a .avi file which is an episode of the TV series Prison Break. Its duration is 43m 7s as seen by MEDIAINFO. But all players play it only for 2m 27s, tried repairing it too by several softwares but no effect (virualdub, divfix++ avi repairer). Tried googling but no answer found.

Did you try to read it with VLC media player?

If you cannot repair it with several software, I think the better solution is to download it again (or another release).

The commonest reason for this is that the download of the file was corrupted in some way (even though the byte size may appear to be correct). Best solution is to download the file again.
