ASUS M2A-VM HDMI not detecting sata dvd drives in dos

Sata dvd drive not detected in DOS mode, while booting with dos it says cant find any cd drive

USB drive which is able to boot from my laptop not not able to boot with this mobo...


because of this i am not able to use bootcd's which allow to ghost machine...

In bios everything is visible perfectly...latest version 1603 is upgraded....tried to downgrade not allowing, it was same problem with earlier versions...

it detects 4gb ram (2 * 2 gb) vista x64 no isssues

while burning dvd lightscrive feature it fails by saying lightscribe disk not inserted

my another usb dvd drive is able to boot, though not detected in DOS mode, i mean ghost, partition magic is not working in dos mode....

to simulate, create a dos boot cd (hiren boot cd) and then try to boot as DOS or run ghost....it fails stating no cd drive detected....

donno what to do?????

well sata optical drive was the issue....using ide dvd drive and things are just great....vista 64 totally stable
