I need a sound card to reduce stutter in games like oblivion and bf2142.

Will a Creative Sound Blaster Audigy Value do any good?

Or do i need something better like a X-Fi Xtreme Audio or X-Fi XtremeGamer.

Does the X-Fi Xtreme Gamer Fatal1ty Pro Series gives alot more noticable performance than those 3 listed above?

The reason I asked, some people just don't have enough ram, which would cause games to be sluggish/studder.

Getting new sound card, may not fix that problem. And in most cases can be a waste of money, unless you got new speaker system to really hear the difference of sound quality. Sometimes not having the most updated drivers can cause problems as well.

Might help more if you list your specs & what OS your using.
