"nvlddmkm.sys has stopped responding"

Hi, for those who are familiar with the above line, you'll know my pain. For those who arn't, you can find most of the info over at the Nvidia forums : http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtopic=25381

I know most of this stuff has been covered, and yup, its probably a case of "wait until SP1 comes out next year". But since I've tried most everything I figured I'd see if anyone here has had any luck fixing this?

p.s. have tried - hotfixes, drivers, reinstalls, underclocking, overclocking, bios tweaks/upgrades, fans, fan controls...all the usual voodoo stuff thats been touted around online at the mo....why not try another one hey?

lol. yeah, it sure does. but since I'm stuck with it now - not wanting to shell out any more for another OS - any constructive feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I upgraded kept it for 7 days. Reinstalled XP. I probably needed more ram or something. Only reason why I wanted was eyecandy.

PS when I turn up all eyecandy Ultimate 32bit sits on it's but eating 1gb of ram
