Well,most likely it is a software conflict. You can uninstall and re-install the driver.
You can do a system restore to a time when the drive was working.
You can go to the manufacturers website to see if they have any updates to correct this issue.
I'd hardly believe it is a broken drive but it COULD be. ps. the yellow exclamation point means a driver conflict.
ps. I've already posted this a thousand times but I installed a epson print driver and it turned my dvd-rw into a A: floppy
