Acer aspire 5100 install

Hello,hard disk crashed and have installed a new one. The computer recognizes the hard drive, yet when I try to run the recovery disks, it hangs up on disk 7 of 8. I've tried it three times now. Any suggestions?

Get a different disk set, probably a bad disk.
