need help Deciding!

Ok so thanksgivin sale is tomorrow and there is a visiontek X1650 pro 256mb ddr2 card for $50. I currently own a crappy radeon x300 (320GHz ocd to 450)... is the 1650 pro better? Cause i was planning on buying a decent graphics card to play the orange box while i wait for a new card that can play crysis well for $300 (no, i refuse to settle for a 8800gt while a better card might come in about 3 to 4 months)

Would it be worth buying while i wait for a new card, or should i just keep the old one (gets 20 fps on counter strike source not ocd SETTINGS: all high, no AA, 8x antistopic filter, color correction,and HDR)
