Free Outlook email help with sound scheme

Hello, my OS is Windows XP Pro (SP3) purchased in 2003 w/ Office XP - Outlook (2002?). I want to change the standard sound scheme when new mail arrives. I clicked on Control Panel -> Sounds and Audio Devices -> Sounds tab -> Program Events, but the New Mail Notification option is not listed in order to make a sound change. What do I do now? Can I incorporate an existing WAV (AOL "You"ve Got Mail") into the program? If so, please provide direction. Thanks!

"New mail notification" is listed under the standard Windows sounds and is set by default to notify.wav. You can alter that to anything you like but Outlook would have to be open or at least minimised into the tray for it to work.
