i wonder if i have a copper bowl and attach it to a cpu and fill the bowl with water.of course the thing is lay flat on the floor.you think i can boil an egg with 4ghz Q6600?
Interesting idea, but I doubt it will work simply because it would be easy to manufacture and sell. If it worked, we'd be able to buy it somewhere. It would be some type of enclosed block heat sink. Did you read the Toms Hardware article about cooling w/ veggie oil?
yeah i did about the veg oil cooling.you see the whole point is not in an enclosed casing and the platform cant be lay down flat for everydau use.water can be spilled if someone accidently bump into the thing.hot or boiling water cant be in something thats enclosed because pressure wioll build up than it might explode?
