Have you ever been in your bios and overclocked or tinkered with anything?

no mate only adjusted my ram timings back to 4-4-4-12 ( their native speed ) from 5-5-5-15...default i guess .. forums are saying to put up my fsb to 333 from 266 but not sure about increasing volts... going to get a decent cpu cooler but still undecided to which brand, to be honest, so any advice on that would be welcome too...
