Ok I am a bit confused with fraps. So much so that I am thinking about never using it again. Here is my problem which is completely stupid. If I record Counter Strike Global Offensive with it on 60fps full size it records completely fine no problems. If I record World of Warcraft or Minecraft it lags so hard you can not even play. How in the world is it even possible that a much more graphic and cpu intensive game records better than that of a almost bit looking graphic game. I just do not understand how a game that should record much worse is recording better than games that look like they are from 2005 or before.

World of Warcraft and Minecraft are both much more graphically intensive than Counter Strike: GO, because the latter uses the same Source Engine from 2005.

Try writing the recording video to another drive on your computer different form the one the game data is on. That might improve recording and gameplay quality.

I feel this is the best and most logical answer. It makes sense and I can agree.
