Looking for a particular mb...

Hey, I am building a new system and I'm am looking for a mb with these specs:

p35 support
socket lga775
raid0 support
good oc'ing ability
around $100
no sli nessary
onboard sound = icing

What mb would you recommend? Or would it be better to get one w/o raid support and get a raid controller?

Unless the $100 is his limit. Both of those boards are about $130, but hopefully that doesn't put him over his budget. I'd agree with either of those boards or even a Abit IP35 too.

No GIGABYTE P35 DS3R is (actually was $96) when i saw today
P5K is a little more than that i think

ABIT IP35 PRO is a solid board, but it costs alot more than P5K and
P35 DS3R

I am on a bit of a budget, but Newegg has it for $83 (open box), I think that's what I'll go for.

Wow! The following boards listed below DON'T support RAID, which the OP wanted, which includes the DS3L (not the DS3R Maziar), Abit IP35-e, Asus P5k-e.

And last I checked, just a few min ago, the DS3R isn't $96, its $138 shipped from newegg! So please check your facts before you post them. Here's a comparison of the 3 differenct brands that support RAID 0 and are p35, like the OP was looking for! They are all around $130.

I know the P5k supports it, I miss-typed in my previous post. I said the P5k-e, should've been P5k-se, like the one below, which DOESN'T support RAID.
