My pc does does detect my voice on my

Hello,
My PC has a built in mic but does not detect my voice. I can hear but can not use voise..

what OS do you have? go into control panel then sound then click on the recording tab and check to make sure the built in mic is enabled and the if it is right click on it and hit properties...then hit the levels tab and make sure the level is up high
