I havent found any threads about RAm overclocking by lowering the timings.

Is it better so say have 2300mhz ddr speed with high timings or are lower timings better is just better for games like crysis..

first of all i've yet to see 2300mhz ram. I get your point. It really have to be a balance between freqency and time.

I'm guessing GDDR4 can hit 1200mhz easily... after all you can see GDDR3 running at 900-1000 and GDDR4 HD2600XT at 1100Mhz.
