I honestly don't like the color of ATI's graphics cards. I seriously do. It just turns me off from buying one. nVidia had a clean black color to it. but ATI is like red and really flashy.

Ummm...why the f*** do you care what color it is??? I care about how much performance I get for my money. If you won't buy a card because of it's color, then you have some issues you need to deal with...

At least ati has changed the board color to red, plain green is like old school for nvidia but xfx strays and makes a lot of black with neon green dvi's it looks really cool. Maybe for a little bit more you could get a different board color some like there hardware matching but yknow whatever.

The red color makes it go faster.

No thanks, I like it red, and I wish they would put miniature floodlights inside the shroud of the reference coolers too. Make sure they flash and can follow the sounds from the PC, like music or explosions and stuff. They should replace MOSFETs with LEDs and make the fan switch directions every second or so, again following the rhythm of the music etc.

Tell me when do you ever see your GFX card? does it sit on a stand elevated with honors and incense around it? why does the color matter, you slap that baby in your ENCLOSED(or side window ;) ) Tower and you never look at it again. i took out my 8800GTX out of the pretty box stared in awe of frigging long it was then put in my computer, now it probably collecting dust haha.

So is the red like those NOS stickers on ricers that give it an extra 5 Horse Power?

Seriously, it's in a case, you don't see it all but the time you're installing or upgrading it. Maybe ATI should just make a card that's the color of the rainbow...that way everyone is happy...and maybe a bit more.

All ATi cards are black! It's the heat coming from then that cause the surrounding material to turn red!

I should know, I have a 2900xt! (PS. I love my 2900xt!)

Absolutely, but only if the sticker is red, the ones with the blue NOS stickers don't give you anything extra.

Ferrari red, yes. As for faster, well I know that when my first Corvette was painted red, it would attract a cop ten times faster then when it was blue. See, that proves that red is much faster!

Well I have blue leds in my case and red turns out to be blackish red. I picked black or other color, but now that I think of it, I like red cards by it self. It just doesn't match well with other parts.

I want mine to be encrusted with rubies. And I want each of the rubies encrusted with miniature oscillating laser pointers all in different directions.

Brown.

Green and Red makes brown.

Of course brown is the color of one of those "four letter words".

I personally like the red ALOT.

But I also like what Sapphire does by offering an ICE BLUE color on some of their cards like my x1950GT.

I am not much for the color green but I love what XFX does with their cards. I think they have some of the best designs for video cards that I have seen. The Logos, Fan cooler designs, how they will put like a railing on the end of some of their video cards so if you have a glass case you can see their logo. They more innovative than most card makers.

Has anyone seen that new door sign XFX made that comes with their 8800GT?

It has that wolf on it that says "I'M GAMING, DO NOT DISTURB".

I love that.

I wish more card manufactures had this level of creativity. XFX really caters to the gaming crowd.

Face it randomizer, that dog owns you in every conceivable way... except adoreable-ness.

Reply to SEALBoy

Personally, I like BFG's cooler decal. The Sapphire one wasn't bad either. There was an XFX card that had dog tags on the decal, like that as well.

Oh and random, you have my backup if you so need it :D

Heh RED means stop - hope thats not a hinter for ati...

As for another color? the idiots at msi make green ati cards and red nvidia cards - trust msi to do that.

The color dont really mean much, but if it was another color no one would see em.
